Dale Eisler

Dale Eisler is Principal of the Anton Group.

Mr. Eisler spent 16 years in senior positions with the Government of Canada, including Assistant Secretary to Cabinet (Consultations and Communications) at the Privy Council Office. He was also Assistant Deputy Minister for the Energy Security, Prosperity, Sustainability Task Force at Natural Resources Canada, Assistant Deputy Minister of Communications at Finance Canada and Consul General for Canada in Denver CO. Before joining the federal government, Mr. Eisler spent 26 years as a journalist in Saskatchewan and Alberta.

The author of four books, his most recent, From Left to Right, Saskatchewan’s Political and Economic Transformation, was published by the University of Regina Press in April 2022. An historical novel Anton, a young boy, his friend and the Russian Revolution by Mr. Eisler became the basis for the feature movie Anton that was filmed on location in Ukraine. It was directed by Zaza Urushadze, who was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe Award.

Mr. Eisler received the 2013 Joan Atkinson Award of Excellence for the federal Public Service. Currently a senior policy fellow at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina, Mr. Eisler has an M.A and B.A. in Political Studies.
